SANDRA ASH is a gifted, classically trained aspiring singer/song-writer.

Sandra Ash was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. From her early beginning, she has been told that music was a part of her life. Her mother would often say, “She bounced on the scene singing and she hasn’t stopped”. Her father inspired her as he was a member of the Men’s choir at Huber Memorial Church. When she sings, it is awesome to see how she can move an audience with her voice. Growing up, she began to love and appreciate music and the arts.

Growing up in Baltimore, Maryland, she participated in productions of the Baltimore Arena Players and learned early about theatre and how to prepare for the stage. Sandra Ash began her musical journey at the tender age of 4. Sandra Ash attended the elitist Baltimore City College High School, graduating at the top percentile of her class in 2008. While there she had many musical experiences. She was honored to: receive music and academic honor accolades; be named vice president of the 2008 chapter of the Tri-M (Masters of Modern Music) Music Honor Society; and receive classical training as well as perform and excel in the various choirs (i.e. show choir, jazz ensemble “Singin’ Swingin’ Knights” and the concert choir) She performed pieces that ranged from spirituals to Bach. These experiences helped prepare her for singing the complete Brahms German Requiem with her choir and having the privilege to perform a solo, on the stage of Carnegie Hall.

Sandra Ash concentrated on what path she should take. Like a bolt of lightning she decided to continue her education in a field that she could create and share messages with a mass amount of people. She always loved to design things and create visual art as well as musical arrangements. Along with music, she has a love for the arts. Combining the two is a wonderful attainment that she is always working towards. She attended Westwood College where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animation. She has applied the skills that she has learned along the way to various projects she has been fortunate to be apart. She was a lead animator and consulting member of “Kool Kidz 4 Change” animated series in 2013. This foresight and training has given her many topics to write about. Whether it is a play, a jingle or a song, Sandra Ash is up for the challenge.

Family is very important to Sandra Ash. She feels her family has shaped who she is, given her the inspiration and story lines to write about in her music. The importance of hard work, dedication, time management and more became a working tool for her. Sandra Ash is grounded in her faith, the love and support of her family and the knowledge that she must share her fortune. This is SANDRA ASH!
